Dutch artist Vincent Van Gogh lived on the edge of convention, misunderstood in his own lifetime and yet driven by a passionate quest to render the world in electric color and raw emotion. In Stairway at Auvers, painted in the springtime just after his move to the village of Auvers‑sur‑Oise, he transforms a simple village stairway into a dynamic swirl of diagonal lines, lively hues, and momentary human figures.

This lesser-known work by the giant that was Vincent van Gogh eloquently bridges his visionary intensity and modern gallery wall decor sensibility. It invites both admiration of the historical artwork and a fresh encounter with one of his last deeply personal compositions.
